Busy Bees pre-school
Busy Bees pre-school is part of our school and the children are taught alongside the Reception children. Children are admitted at the beginning of the term in which they are three years old. Where there are vacancies, parents may choose which days they wish their child to attend. Parents will be charged a fee for their child until they are eligible for government funding, depending when their third birthday falls:
1st January – 31st March
child is funded from the Summer term.
1st April – 31st August
child is funded from the Autumn term.
1st September – 31st December
child is funded from the Spring term.
All Busy Bees children are provided with free milk & fruit each morning.
Invoices for fees will be raised in the first week of each half term. As there are statutory teacher:pupil ratios for particular age groups, we are limited to the number of three year old children that we can have in any one session. Therefore, there may be a waiting list to attend Busy Bees.
EXTENDED HOURS NOW AVAILABLE!
Children can now attend full day sessions at Busy Bees. All children aged three years and over are entitled to a total of 15 hours per week free funding.

2 YEAR OLD PLACES
I am delighted to let you know, that we have decided to extend our ever popular pre-school provision to include 2 year olds! If you are interested in accessing this offer, then please get in touch with the school for an application form.
Due to statutory legislation regarding ratios, we are only able to offer this to 4 pupils in any session. Each session will be a set time of 3 hours, at a rate of £5 per hour, so a total of £15. Sessions will operate in mornings only, from 9am-12pm.
If you think you may be eligible for benefits or funding for this, please visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to find out.
