We held our Cinderella Banquet on Tuesday 6th December. What a FANTASTIC turnout! Thankyou to all parents and carers who were able to join us in celebrating our successes this term in school. This was our chance to explain all of the things that we had learnt, helping us to answer our Esssential Question which is 'What do we need to live happily ever after.' The children shared some of their own stories that they had written about Little Red Riding Hood, who went missing and recounts of our castle trip. Polly told everyone about our science experiment, testing the shelters for the Three Little Pigs. Ben shared with everyone about our food hamper collection for the NOMAD trust, helping others to have food and live happily ever after. Discovery class decided that the things that were important to live happily were...food, water, shelter, family, friends, clothes, some money and people to help us, like hospitals.
We shared food with our parents and carers, just like the medieval banquet we had in Linoln Castle. We shared hot dogs, pizza, sausage rolls, grapes, cucumber, tomato, cakes and apple juice.
Finally we shared our banquet dance to 'ding dong merrily on high.' More pictures and videos are available in the gallery.
I am so, so proud of all of the children for their hard work over the last term, for their efforts and for their enthusiasm!
