  • Breakfast Club Assistant Grade G2 (£17,711-£18,065, pro rata, equated pay)
  • After School Club Assistant  Grade G3 (£18,065-£19, 171, pro rata, equated pay)

 

Both roles are temporary until the end of term 4  (31st March 2021), Part time, and term time only.

Required for 2nd Nov 2020 

We are seeking to fill two posts for our soon to be established wraparound care at Normanby by Spital Primary School

Our Breakfast Club will run term time Monday to Friday 7.45am-9am, and we require two assistants to work in this provision. Our After School Club runs term time Monday to Friday 3.30pm-5.50pm pm, and we are seeking two assistants to support with the running of this.

We are open to candidates who wish to apply for both posts but we will also accept applications for each individual post.

Normanby by Spital Primary School is a small and friendly rural village school, currently with 58 pupils. We have a dedicated and friendly team of staff and fantastic children. Staff work in a supportive and collaborative environment with the child at the centre of all we do. Our governors are committed and pro-active, and are supportive of the development of our wraparound care.

The staff we will employ need to have inspired and innovative ideas to initiate and develop creative and exciting play opportunities for our children. You will develop the self-esteem and independence of our children. You will supervise our children at all times, preparing appropriate activities and resources, preparing and serving food, ensure that hygiene is maintained (handwashing and surface cleaning) and making attendance at our wraparound care positive and welcoming. You will foster excellent relationships with our children, being empathetic to the needs of individual pupils and their families. You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and well organised, and will be supportive of the school’s aims and values.

Visits to the school are highly recommended (4pm visits are offered to limit the number of visitors we have in school opening hours, due to Covid-19 risk assessment).
